This Morning hosts Eamonn and Ruth respond to 'toe sucking' question

Married This Morning hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes discussed toe sucking in an odd segment in today's episode.

The hosts were joined by Martin and Shirlie Kemp to discuss some of the suggestions in the controversial list, '101 ways to show someone you love them, other than having sex', that went viral after it was handed out to Year 9 pupils at Shevington High School in Wigan last month.

The list includes things like 'go on a love boat', 'go to a concert', 'buy nice underwear', 'buy them a piece of the moon' and more.

The list, which was handed out to children as young as 12, also encourages readers to 'suck each other's toes', which prompted Eamonn and Ruth to discuss each other's feet.

Talking to the guests, Eamon said: "Shirlie, can I just say...I have beautiful toes.

"I have lovely toes, right?"

Ruth said: "Do I ever suck them?"

To which Eamonn replied: "Do you ever look at them?"

Despite raving about his own feet, the odd discussion continued and he was less than forgiving about his wife's feet.

The Irish presenter said: "You've got the feet of goats."

Ruth agreed and said: "I have. I have that little claw. They're like talons."

Eamonn admitted he and his wife hadn't taken to toe sucking.

He said: "Even the beauty of my toes could not entice her to do anything."

The controversial list was given to students during their Sex Ed classes and offered 101 activities and suggestions for people to engage in that didn't involve sex.

Guest Martin Kemp disagreed and said: "I don’t know whoever wrote this, but where do they think that leads to?"

The list was also discussed on Good Morning Britain and Loose Women.

Loose Women panelist Nadia said: "I realise this is very outrageous but I'm not actually that outraged" and said if her daughter had brought the list home, they'd "probably have a good giggle".

Presenter Kaye Adams said: "I've got to the age of 56 and I ain't sucking anyone's toes."
