This Morning fans thrilled by Alison Hammond's presenting news

This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield left the show for a well-earned break before Christmas.

On Friday, December 17, the presenters told viewers it would be the last time they'd be on the iconic sofa for a while.

This Morning continued to run on weekdays, with Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay filling in for the pair.

But with the New Year well underway, viewers were left confused as Tuesday's episode was hosted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary - who usually only present the morning show on Fridays.

Alison has today revealed she and Dermot will also host Wednesday's show.

Posting on Instagram she said: "Guess who back tomorrow at 10 am just me , Dermot and all the Team Tomorrow on itv come and join us".
