This Morning fans have praised the return of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford to the show.
The married presenters previously used to front the beloved ITV show for the weekly Friday instalments but were replaced earlier this year by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
However, Eamonn and Ruth were back and exchanging their usual banter as they return to present the show through the summer holidays period.
In their comeback episode, which aired following England's loss of the EUFA Euros 2020 final the night prior, Ruth admitted that she was "gutted" at the team's loss and that she had watched the game in her England shirt.
The pair were quickly back to their usual banter and bickering before quickly discussing the latest headlines with Matthew Wright and Camilla Tominey.
Viewers of the show were keen to see the married couple return to present the show after a long absence and took to social media to share their appreciation.
One Twitter user commented: "Summer just wouldn't be Summer without Eamonn and Ruth on #ThisMorning . Looking forward to spending the next seven weeks with the king and queen of daytime telly!"
A different This Morning viewer penned: "Good Morning Peeps Happy Monday and a warm welcome back to Eamonn and Ruth for 7 weeks. It's been so long but I'm so glad that you are back where you belong [applause emojis #ThisMorning".
They added: "Oh Ruth and Eamonn I've missed your Bickering it's so good to have it back [laughing emojis, applause emojis] #ThisMorning ".
Meanwhile, another fan of the pair commented: "England might have lost, but Ruth and Eamonn are back …. every cloud [okay hand sign emoji] #ThisMorning ".
