This Morning fans 'in tears' over Spin To Win caller's devastating admission

This Morning viewers were moved to tears during Wednesday's episode as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby gave out a huge jackpot prize to a deserving winner who was having a tough time.

As they called Spin To Win entries, one answered with the correct phrase: "Winner takes it all!"

The caller introduced herself as Lesley from Manchester and she asked: "This isn't a wind up, is it?"

"No, no!" Phil assured her.

Lesley had just lost her job and had been panicking about Christmas (ITV)

Lesley explained: "Oh, because I've just been made redundant, and my granddaughter is five days old, I was panicking on Christmas and everything, oh god."

Holly replied: "Well congratulations on that! What's your granddaughters name?"

Lesley told her it was Elsie, and Holly asked: "Elsie! Oh my gosh what a time you are having, so it's a bit up and down?"

Viewers were overcome with emotion as Lesley won the jackpot (ITV)

"Honestly I can't believe it, it really is you!" gushed a delighted Lesley.

"We are going to spin the wheel now, okay?" asked Phil.

"This is going to make Christmas, because you are definitely going to win some money " said Holly.

Phil prayed the wheel would land on the highest prize (ITV)

"I'm not allowed to cheat on this," Phil complained, making a wish for the wheel to land on the highest number, £3,000 - and it did.

"I can't believe it!" Exclaimed Holly, as Lesley exclaimed:"Oh thank you! That has made my Christmas!

"Since I've been made redundant I have been doing this. Thank you!"

In an incredible stroke of luck, the wheel landed on the highest number (ITV)

Viewers were overjoyed at Lesley's win as they took to Twitter to share their emotions.

One wrote:" So thrilled that Lesley won £3000 on #ThisMorning after her being made redundant @Schofe. A lovely lady and has cheered me up no end after being in lockdown on my own since March."
