This Morning viewers were ecstatic as Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford returned to the ITV daytime show today for the first time in months since their axe from the Friday shows.
Fans were left devastated last year after ITV announced that Eamonn and Ruth would be replaced on Fridays and would only host the show during the half terms.
They have since been replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who have been presenting together since January.
But viewers were delighted to see Eamonn and Ruth back today and flocked to Twitter to comment.
One tweeted: "Yayyyyyy Eamon and Ruth are back!!!"
While another commented: "#thismorning Counting down to Eamon and Ruth on this morning. I have taken the week off work to have uninterrupted watching. All 5 of us here so excited !!! We love Eamon and Ruth XX, they are just so relatable."

Yesterday, the couple teased fans with their return in Valentine's Day messages to one another on Instagram.
Sharing a video of the pair of them on the programme, Ruth wrote: "He’s been making me laugh for 24 years...here’s to many more years @eamonnholmes Happy Valentine’s Day. On @thismorning all this week...hope you can join us 10.00 am @itv See you there! x #valentine #eamonnholmes #thismorning #itv."
ITV's Doctor Amir Khan wrote in response: "Yesssss!!"
While another wrote: "Thank goodness your back!!"
A third commented: "Can’t wait to have you both back tomorrow x."
Ahead of their appearance on This Morning, Ruth also shared a clip on her Insta Stories of herself walking backstage towards the This Morning set.
She captioned the video: "Half term week on @thismorning. Hope you can join me & @eamonnholmes 10.00am @itv."
