Viewers who tuned into This Morning on Monday will have noticed there are some new, but familiar, faces on the screen.
Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson have been called in to replace Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in their presenting roles whilst they take their Christmas break.
This Morning fans will recognise Josie Gibson, who covered Holly last month whilst she was off sick for three days with a stomach bug.
After making a great impression, viewers requested for the Big Brother winner to become a permanent host, and she's now returned to fulfil fan's hopes.
But it was Bolton-born Vernon Kay, who made his debut presenting the ITV show on Monday, who viewers really took a liking to.
Vernon was on the cards to present This Morning earlier this year, but had to pull out last minute after testing positive for coronavirus.
The Bolton TV star was due to front the show for three days in August for the very first time alongside Rochelle Humes, but was unable to do so due to isolating.
However Vernon finally got his chance to shine today and viewers were full of praise for his presenting flair.
During the show Vernon, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity last year, interviewed this year's finalist Simon Gregson in what was branded the 'funniest interview ever'.
The Corrie star appeared to 'still be drunk' after coming runner-up in Sunday night's final, after making somewhat 'crude' yet hilarious comments.
He also held his own throughout the rest of the programme, with This Morning fans calling him a 'natural'.
Some viewers even went so far as to say that the All Star Family Fortunes host should in fact replace Phillip Schofield on the show.
Calling Vernon a 'threat' to Phil, one fan said: "How good is @vernonkay on @thismorning? This is a real threat to @Schofe and could already be the successor in waiting to liven the format a little. Plus, he's genuinely funny."
"Love Josie Gibson and Vernon Kaye - can’t they do this permanently instead of Phil and Holly," @cosser65 said.
Viewer Ian agreed, "Vernon is so much better than Phil and Dermot."
Elaine Ritchie added: "Vernon and Josie were fantastic hosts this morning , Vernon is a natural."
