This Morning viewers want Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes to return to the ITV show for good after they hosted this week.
Ruth, 60, and Eamonn, 61, were dropped from their weekly Friday slot late last year and have been replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield continue to present Mondays to Thursdays.
ITV said the couple would continue to host This Morning on weekdays during the school holidays, and they returned this week during the February half term.
Viewers realised how much they'd missed seeing Ruth and Eamonn on their TVs, and took to Twitter to call on This Morning bosses to bring them back permanently.
Eamonn had tweeted to thank his followers for the "warm welcome back", posting: "Half way through This Morning Half Term.
"Hope u r enjoying it.
"@RuthieeL and I would like to thank you for such a warm welcome back and maybe you'll join us from 10 for the rest of the week?"
And his followers replied saying they were loving the return of Ruth and Eamonn.
One tweeted: "Wish you were both back permanently, It's definitely not the same without you, and I won't watch it. It was lovely to see you both yesterday."
"Really enjoying have you both back, now we also need you back on Fridays," another posted.
A third wrote: "So lovely to have you both back. It's such a shame it is only for a week. I'm sorry to say I don't watch on a Friday anymore."
"You should still be on every Friday. Love the banter between the two of you," another agreed.
Another commented: "Personally I would like to see you both there permanently, you can only have so much of the other 2 as they on everything.`'
