Eamonn Holmes shared a cheeky dig with his wife and presenting partner Ruth Langsford live on air today.
In an interview with Richard Osman about his new novel The Thursday Murder Club Eamonn asked his wife: "Do you ever feel like murdering anybody?"
Ruth said she didn't and Eamonn continued: "I'm thinking of a Friday murder club, a weekend murder club going into the weekend, doesn't the urge ever take you?"
Ruth grimaced and said: "Oh well maybe right now."
The pair shared a look and then Ruth continued and said: "Erm right what are we talking about."

Many viewers laughed along with Eamonn and Ruth, with several of them posting a series of laughing emojis and tagging Eamonn in.
And Honey Badger said: "Friday Murder Club, I wonder when that idea started??! V funny. Cheeky Eamonn."
Alison and Dermot are set to take over from Eamonn and Ruth - but today the presenting couple hosted the show in their usual Friday slot and failed to mention their reported axing.
As the show began many viewers tagged ITV into their tweets begging them to reconsider replacing Eamonn and Ruth, as they enjoyed their Friday hosting so much.
