This Morning doctor cut off during crucial segment leaving fans raging

This Morning fans were left annoyed today as Dr Zoe Williams was cut off as she was giving crucial information about the vaccine and blood clots.

Hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes chatted to Dr Zoe about the latest health headlines in the papers today.

The panel came onto the news that there had been a fall in the amount of blood clots reported after people had the astrazeneca vaccine.

Dr Zoe said that the blood clot caused after having the vaccine was a very particular kind of clot which led to low platelets.

Speaking about signs and symptoms you should be aware of she said: "It means you're more likely to bleed.

"It tends to affect the vein which drains blood from the brain...."

But as Dr Zoe tried to continue Ruth butted in and said: "Dr Zoe I'm so sorry I'm going to have to stop you there, this always happens to us, we've got to go to the weather.

"Sorry about that."

And hundreds of viewers were left raging, especially when they didn't return to the segment after the forecast.

Aimie said: "Can’t believe they’re not gonna bring Dr Zoe back… they better have apologised to her privately or else I truly believe people will send in complaints! I can’t believe they left it there and then! WE WANT VACCINE INFO!"

Dave said: "Disgrace not having Dr Zoe back, they’ll just speak about sandwiches and the competition instead."

Claire said: "They cut off Zoe talking about something really important but I notice they get in their ads before the weather."

And Ann said: "Just goes to show the weather is far more important than a GP talking about serious health issues... Simply Cut Off... HOW RUDE IS THAT."

*This Morning continues at 10am on ITV tomorrow
