This Morning chaos as Richard Madeley drops 'f-bomb' live on air during Spin The Wheel

Richard and Judy's This Morning return descended into chaos on Friday when Richard appeared to drop a 'f-bomb' live on air.

The famous husband and wife presenting duo were back on the sofas that made them huge ITV stars in the 90s and this week's presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford enjoyed a well-earned day off.

And, as viewers have come to expect from Richard and Judy, their stint back at the helm of This Morning produced plenty of talking points, largely down to Richard.

Shortly after he made a very awkward joke while interviewing Ant and Dec, millions of viewers watching at home were convinced Richard swore while having difficulty taking control of the show's Spin The Wheel segment.

The game left viewers cringing and in hysterics in equal measure after a delay between the presenters and the callers made it tricky for Richard and Judy to make out what exactly was going.

One viewer even called the game "impossible" after the pair struggled to hear and couldn't remember the names of celebrities.

For one of the images, Richard and Judy were tasked with guessing the picture behind them was of Caitlyn Jenner.

The caller said: "She was on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! She's got very famous daughters.”

Still puzzled and mishearing the caller's clue, Richard appeared to mutter "F***, sorry," and, as with everything on live TV, viewers at home wasted no time in taking to Twitter to react.

One tweeted: "Did Richard say 'F***, sorry'??" and another reacted: "Richard Madeley is a National treasure and should be protected at all costs.

A third tweeted: "Richard Madeley is the gift that keeps on giving. Can’t stop watching."
