This Morning 'blunder' as Eamonn and Ruth are drowned out by Judge Rinder theme tune

This Morning suffered an awkward blunder before the programme even began today as hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford teased what was coming up.

Following the end of an episode of Judge Rinder this morning, Eamonn and Ruth were set to introduce what was coming up on the programme.

Only, viewers couldn't hear anything over the thundering Judge Rinder theme tune.

Fans took to Twitter in confusion as they tried to figure out what was going on.

One tweeted: "Ruth and Eamonn drowned out by music #ThisMorning."

Yesterday, Ruth returned to the ITV programme for the first time in almost a month.

The 59-year-old presenter took a break from work following her sister Julia's death.

But viewers couldn't hear anything over the music (ITV)

Ruth didn't address her sister's death, but husband Eamonn kindly said at the start of the programme: "It's very nice to see you back, darling."

"Good good," Ruth replied.

She was due to host the programme the day after learning about her sister's death.

Instead, husband Eamonn was joined by pal Rylan Clark-Neal and was very emotional as he paid tribute to his sister-in-law live on air.
