Getting a foul ball at at Major League Baseball game is something you’ll never forget. I have gotten two foul balls in my lifetime and I hold those memories close to my heart and I never hesitate in telling people about both of those incredible moments.
I was lucky in that both foul balls pretty much landed in my lap. I didn’t have to work too hard for them.
Which is why I have a lot of respect for this guy who tried to get a a foul ball today in Oakland.
While he might have failed in securing the foul ball, his no-quit attitude in trying to track down that ball is a thing of inspiration:
