With Valentines Day just around the corner, a sexual wellness brand has been looking at the most romantic places around the country.
And it was great news for one Midlothian town, with Dalkeith singled among the most loved-up towns in Scotland.
However, other parts of Midlothian didn't fare so well, with Penicuik leaving plenty to lust after when it was ranked among the least loved-up places in the country.
Meanwhile, Fifers can feel pretty smug after Kirkcaldy took the top spot for the most romantic place in the whole of Scotland...who's laughing now?
The figures were compiled by Lovehoney and were based on everything from the amount of cash couples splash on sexy gifts, to how much buying the do in the build-up to Valentine’s, reports the Daily Record.
Lovehoney spokesperson, product director Bonny Hall, said: “Couples in Kirkcaldy are the most romantic in Scotland - spending more on each other than anywhere else in Scotland in the build-up to Valentine’s.
“Couples that play together, stay together. The key to sexual happiness is to be bold and adventurous, especially around Valentine’s Day."
