Police seized a huge knife following a dramatic car chase through Trafford.
Officers on routine patrol gave chase when they spotted a car travelling at speed on Woodsend Road in Flixton on Wednesday night (October 16).
A police dog and drone were used as the search continued.
Officers found an abandoned VW Polo on nearby Wyndcliff Drive in Urmston and arrested a suspect hiding under another car.
When officers searched the Polo they found a large knife.
The car had been stolen during a burglary in Bolton, say police.

Today (Thursday) the suspect was being questioned on suspicion of theft of a car, possession of cannabis and possession of a knife.
The incident was revealed in a post on GMP's Trafford North Facebook page.
"Enquiries are continuing," it said.
The efforts of the officers was immediately praised by a series of posters.
Judith Knott wrote: "Love them or hate them but the police do an amazing job.
"Thank you for keeping us safe."
