This man loves Miss Millie's so much he took their merchandise with him up Kilimanjaro

A Miss Milllie's hat has made it all the way to the top of Kilimanjaro after a fan of the Bristol chain of fried chicken restaurants decided to honour the fast food chain at 5895metres.

Gethin Wilkinson, who frequents the chicken-chain's Gloucester Road restaurant took multiple paper hats with the famous red logo along with him on his journey to the summit.

Along with colleagues raising money for Great Western Ambulance, Gethin would have a Miss Millie's inspired chant every morning before leaving camp and even posed with his hat each step of the way.

The team would chant "1, 2, 3 – MILLI-KILLI" but it was not enough to get the whole team to the highest point in Africa.

After four and a half days of hiking Gethin, and the some of the team, managed to reach Uhuru Peak.

This means Gethin now holds the unofficial record for the highest altitude a Miss Millie's hat has ever been worn.

Gethin raised more than £4,000 for Great Western Air Ambulance including a donation from Miss Millies Fried Chicken of £531!
