This ‘Jeopardy’ contestant failing to beat James Holzhauer to buzzer sums up his epic run

James Holzhauer has had an incredible run on ‘Jeopardy’ and he was back on the show Wednesday night looking for his 30th straight win.

I’m going to provide a spoiler in a second so if you watch the show and haven’t seen the episode yet then hit the back button or just throw your phone out the window.

Here’s the spoiler:

Jeopardy James won again, bringing in another $69,033 to bring his 30-day total to $2,323,971, which is now just $200K short of Ken Jennings’ record for most money won in regular-season play.

This moment from Wednesday’s show sums up how difficult it is to beat Holzhauer. Watch as fellow contestant Faizan Kothari tries so hard to beat him to the buzzer, violently pressing the thing to no avail as Holzhauer calmly buzzes in and gets a question about “Parks and Recreation” right:

Jeopardy James is just too quick, too smart, and too good at the game.
