Corrie fans couldn't believe their eyes as they settled down to watch the soap on Monday night.
Viewers were in a spin as DJ Ryan Connor appeared in just a pair of boxer shorts in the home he shares with his girlfriend Alya Nazir and her gran Yasmeen.
He greeted Alya in his pants and the pair continued to have a chat about his career prospects.

Fans flocked to Twitter to have their say, with many enjoying the bizarre scene and others questioning why he wasn't dressed.
"Ryan, mate," tweeted one incredulous fan.
"What's Ryan doing in just his underwear haha," asked another.
"FFS get dressed Ryan this isn't love Island," said another.
"I was not prepared for Ryan in his undercrackers," tweeted another soap watcher.
And another pleaded: "Get dressed lad."
They were even more confused when Alya propositioned her man, and Ryan told her that Yasmeen was home.
"Yasmeen is upstairs, yet Ryan walks around the house in his boxers?" asked one.
But other fans brushed the questions away.
"Oh hello Ryan," purred one viewer.
"OH HELLO THERE," shouted another.
"Petition for Ryan to be in just his pants to be more of a thing," another viewer tweeted.
"Dear #corrie, our house really enjoyed that Ryan and Alya scene. Thank you," said another.
Ryan, played by Ryan Prescott, has dated Alya in Coronation Street since 2019.
He supported her gran, played by Shelley King, when she went through a coercive control ordeal at the hands of her husband Geoff Metcalfe played by Ian Bartholomew.
But there looks set to be heartache ahead for Alya, played by Sair Khan, as newcomer Daisy Midgeley competes for his attention.
