A woman was shocked when her local wing spot kicked her out before she could check her to-go order. In a video with over 4.1 million views, @ovo3ya had some trouble at her Woody’s, a Raleigh, North Carolina restaurant.
In the video, she sets a to-go order down on a table inside the establishment momentarily to “take a bite really quick.” Then, an employee at the establishment tells her she couldn’t eat there and that she has to leave with her order.
From there, @ovo3ya packs up her food and leaves, disappointed by the exchange. She posted a few additional TikToks that showed her leaving the establishment.

Many people quickly figured out where @ovo3ya grabbed her wings just from the background, spying that it was Woody’s Sports Tavern and Grill, located in Raleigh, North Carolina. The company’s website reads, “Woody’s award-winning food, extensive selection of booze and lively, non-conformist atmosphere and attitude keep our loyal patrons coming back year after year.”
However, the establishment has a 3.2/5 on Yelp, with some viewers of @ovo3ya’s leaving a few replies. One person who clearly saw the video said, “A low vibration restaurant. Telling paying customers that they are not allowed to eat there [after ordering to-go] is wild. Nobody deserve that.”
Some people pointed out a possible racial element to kicking @ovo3ya out. As one reviewer added, “DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR. They went viral on TikTok for kicking a black woman out of their space after she purchased a to-go meal… The service is HORRIBLE.”
Additionally, commenters posted on her subsequent updates, sharing personal experiences with the restaurant.

Some people disagreed with the idea that @ovo3ya had a right to eat at Woody’s after ordering to go: One added, “You’re taking up a server’s table, nothing personal… [you’re supposed to take out] to-go orders. Fast food places don’t care but yeah you cant take a carry out bag to an empty table in a sit down restaurant.”
Another replied, “Am I missing something? I worked in restaurants for 16 years and takeout means pickup [your food and ] leave. Dine in means [staying] in the restaurant. It’s not complicated people.”
