Heavy traffic has built up in Avonmouth this afternoon (May 10) due to roadworks in the area.
The congestion is causing misery for many motorists, with one person commenting on Twitter that traffic was "gridlocked".
According to traffic monitoring service Inrix, there is "very slow traffic" on St Andrew's Road around Kings Weston Lane is "in the roadworks area".
