This is why there's a giant Pikachu Pokémon in Liverpool ONE this weekend

A giant Pikachu will be meeting families in Liverpool ONE this weekend, to celebrate new film  Pokémon Detective Pikachu.

Currently number one at the UK Box Office, Detective Pikachu himself will be visiting the Odeon on Saturday, May 18.

Ryan Reynolds stars in the first-ever live-action Pokémon adventure as Pikachu, the iconic face of the global Pokémon phenomenon.

Fans of all ages can get the chance to meet Detective Pikachu himself between 11am and 7pm at Liverpool ONE Odeon.

Meeting Pikachu is free and he will be appearing in half-hour intervals in the cinema foyer or outside in the Galleria.
