The Mersey Gateway bridge is set to be illuminated red this Saturday to mark the anniversary of Jo Cox's murder.
Mrs Cox was killed by a neo-Nazi three years ago after conducting a weekly surgery in her constituency of Batley.
The Labour MP's legacy is one of unity, with those remembering her quoting a line from her maiden speech in Parliament: "We all have more in common than that which divides us."

Halton Borough Council made the decision to light up the bridge in her memory following a request from local community group Great Get Together.
Organiser Laura Bevan said: "I was profoundly affected by the murder of Jo Cox. I think as she was a mum of two young children - like myself - it really hit me hard, knowing she went to work and never came home, just because of politics.
"I didn’t know much about Jo before she was killed but the more I learned about her passion for bringing communities together I felt compelled to do something.
"[Jo's] family wanted people to get involved, to come together and remember her rather than be angry.
"So in 2017 we held the first GGT event. [The events] are making a huge impact on the community, and this year looks to be the biggest one yet.
"I wanted to do something to bring Widnes and Runcorn together and when I heard you could ask for the bridge to be lit to commemorate events I thought it was just the most fitting tribute idea for Jo.
"Its been a privilege to be involved in the Great Get Together and I hope to work to continue the More in Common message through out the year."
The Mersey Gateway bridge will be lit up this Saturday from around 9.30pm to 4am Sunday.
A Halton Borough Council spokesperson said: “We are very pleased to support the Jo Cox Foundation by lighting the Mersey Gateway red as part of their Great Get Together initiative.
