This is why George Ezra won’t be jumping around at Malahide Castle tonight

George Ezra will be kicking off his Dublin concert tonight albeit a little cautiously after hurting his leg.

The Shotgun singer ended up injuring his ankle while out for a run.

The 26-year-old star posted a picture of himslef sitting on a chair pouting with a bandaged up ankle with the caption: “Guess who went for a run yesterday and rolled their ankle? Guess who's headlining @isleofwightfest tonight?

“Guess who feels like a complete numpty? That's right ladies and gentlemen! The answer is, Geoff!! But THE SHOW MUST GO ON.”

In fact, he played the entirety of his Ise of Wight gig while sitting on a stool.

George played at the Irish Independent Park in Cork yesterday as part of his Irish tour which includes dates in Dublin and Belfast.

He will be playing Malahide Castle tonight with The Vaccines and Kawala as supporting acts.

Gates will be opening at 5pm.
