This is why fire engines were called to Clifton Triangle last night

New Year's Eve is one of the busiest nights for emergency services across Bristol and last night was no different.

The crew from Temple Fire Station were called to reports of smoke issuing from a property at Clifton Triangle.

However, upon checking the property, firefighters found out it was a false alarm.

Temple Fire Station tweeted: "Crews have been busy tonight & were called to reports of smoke issuing from a property on the #triangle.

"Turntable ladder was used to check the property but was determined to be a false alarm good intent, then straight out to next shout... #HappyNewYear #NewDecadeSameTemple."
