This is why an upturned van appeared underneath Glasgow's Kingston Bridge

Drivers heading through Broomielaw or over the Kingston Bridge might have spotted something unusual by the side of the road.

An interesting looking van sitting upturned on its roof by the road has been parked on the Cheapside Street for the past few days.

The van, which has camouflage style black and white markings, has been abandoned and left on its roof in the car park directly under the Kingston Bridge and not far from the Glasgow Live offices.

We can reveal the van is actually a stunt for Ghetto Golf, the new adult crazy golf which is opening soon on Lancefield Street.

Glasgow is the latest opening for the owners, who also have venues in Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham.

The Glasgow venue will have a local twist, with artwork and holes inspired by the city and with a few Glaswegian in-jokes for good measure.

Keep an eye on Glasgow Live for more news in the lead up to the opening.
