This is when you can view new luxury houses being built in Gedling

Developers behind a new £8.5m luxury housing development have set the date for a view home opening - and you don't have long to wait.

East Midlands-based Peter James Homes started work on the 14-home Gedling site last May but it is only now that house hunters will be able to look inside the new view home.

The house is being dressed on Friday and will be open to view from Saturday, September 19, 2020.

However, you can't just pop along like you did in the pre-Covid days. Viewers are being asked to book a scheduled appointment.

Simon Gardiner, managing director of Peter James Homes, said: “Hunters Wood is our most exclusive development yet, with thoughtful details giving each of the 14 homes that wow factor."

There is only one three-bed on the site, the rest of the houses are either four- and five-bedroomed properties. They range between 1,695 sq.ft and 2,335 sq.ft. and are priced between £475,000 and £625,000.

The development is scheduled for first completions this October.

Simon added: “We’ve handpicked a unique location and it feels like the houses have been nestled at the site for years. It’s got a fascinating heritage, and people moving into these homes will have bought their own piece of history.

The site just off Wood Lane. is in the grounds of historic Gedling Manor, once owned by the Earls of Chesterfield, then the Earls of Carnarvon, and where King Edward VII stayed during shooting seasons.
