Bristol's newest branch of Starbucks is set to launch early in 2020 - almost a year after it was first due to open.
Signs for the new drive-thru, located off Bath Road between McDonald's and Subway in Brislington, were first seen in February 2019.
A job advert on the Starbucks careers website stated the café was set to open in March 2019 - but as we enter a new year, the café still lies vacant with mystery surrounding it.
The reason for this setback is unknown and in October a Starbucks spokesperson said, "We have no specifics to share about plans at Brislington at this time".
However it looks like that could finally change early next year, as a notice has appeared at the Broadmead branch of the popular coffee house chain giving customers an update.
It states: "We are currently recruiting supervisors for stores across Bristol, including our new Bath Road Drive Thru in Brislington (opening February)."
Bargain bakery chain Greggs opened its newest Bristol branch at the development on December 13.
It is thought the new Starbucks branch will create around 20 jobs.
A Starbucks spokesperson said: "We look forward to opening our doors to customers at Brislington in the near future and will be in touch once we have more specific plans to share."
