Every year thousands of people line the streets of the town centre to enjoy the festive procession, which is one of the biggest in Wales.

There are normally funfair rides, food and gift stalls and entertainment on offer before the lights are officially switched on.

The hugely popular reindeer parade will also be returning to Llanelli this year.

The event, organised by Ymlaen Llanelli, also sees a host of princesses, superheroes and bands head through the town centre.

When the parade finishes there's always an opportunity to get a closer look at the reindeer in Spring Gardens.
