This is when the Champions League fixtures are released as Liverpool prepare to defend their title in 2019/20

Liverpool will not find out their Champions League fixtures for the 2019/20 season until August 29.

The Reds are top seeds so will go straight into the group stage of this year's competition after adding a sixth European Cup to their collection.

Jurgen Klopp's men defeated Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid to become Champions in Europe once again and will now be top seeds alongside Europa League winners Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Zenit St Petersburg.

Those sides will go straight into the group stage draw on August 29 in Monaco, with the first round of fixtures taking place on September 17 and 18.

Next year's Champions League final is returning to the Ataturk Stadium on May 30, 2020 - 15 years on from Liverpool's historic fifth European Cup victory over AC Milan.
