Budget supermarket chain Aldi have announced the long-anticipated opening date for the their brand new store in Rothwell.
It was announced earlier this year that the cut-price store would be opening a branch in east Leeds, but excited shoppers have been left in the dark about when it would open - until now.
There is not long left to wait to get your hands on some right bargains, with the new Aldi set to open for the very first time on Thursday, July 4.
The Mirror reports that the building works will have cleared in time for people to get their weekend shop in at the start of July.
It's all part of a huge push by the budget supermarket chain, which will have opened eight new stores in Yorkshire alone by the end of 2019, including one in Yeadon which opened a little earlier this year.
Colin Breslin, regional managing director at Aldi said: "We’ve set out ambitious plans for this year and we’re investing heavily across Yorkshire to ensure even more people in the region can shop and save closer to home.
"We have a fantastic team across the area and this means we can grow and offer even more employment opportunities for local people.
"We’re excited to see how the stores develop over the next few months and I would encourage local people to keep an eye out for recruitment opportunities."
