This is when Nando's in Bristol's Cabot Circus will reopen

Nando's fans haven't been able to get their peri-peri fix in the city centre recently as the chain's Cabot Circus restaurant has been closed.

Thankfully it's not a permanent closure and the restaurant is instead undergoing a refresh.

The top floor eatery closed on March 4 so the refurbishment could be carried out.

It is thought part of the plans will see the restaurant install original Southern African artwork and more unique design features.

When will it reopen?

The team behind the restaurant has confirmed the branch will reopen on April 11.

A spokesperson for Nando’s said: “Our Cabot Circus restaurant is currently closed as we give it a bit of a refresh.

"The new restaurant will feature unique design features and original Southern African art.

“We cannot wait to open the doors and start serving local peri-peri fans next week.”

Last month alarm bells were raised over the future of the Nando's restaurant in The Mall at Cribbs Causeway after a statement on its Facebook page was posted which read "Nando’s in the Mall will be closing at the end of March."

However this turned out to be a bogus page, and a spokesperson at the restaurant confirmed that it will remain open.
