This is when Everton boss Marco Silva will decide on Richarlison's fitness for Crystal Palace game

Richarlison must prove his fitness in Everton's final training session this morning before the game with Crystal Palace.

Marco Silva has Marco Silva reveals Everton injury concern ahead of Crystal Palace clash due to the rib injury he sustained in the win over Manchester United.

Everton's players will be put through a light, tactical-based session at Finch Farm this morning before they travel to London ahead of tomorrow's game at Selhurst Park.

Marco Silva reveals Everton injury concern ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Silva says Richarlison insisted he was pain free when he returned to the club's training base on Tuesday but it soon became apparent he was still struggling with the problem.

The Blues boss says the 21-year-old is desperate to be passed fit for the game and though they will listen to Richarlison's "feedback" a decision is to be taken by the medical team before the squad depart for the capital.

Speaking to the ECHO on Thursday afternoon, Silva said: "Let's see tomorrow.

"Tomorrow's session will make the difference for us.

"This morning he tried to do something so let's see how he is tomorrow and how he reacts to the session.

"It is not a tough, tough session the day before a game but we will look at him to see how he is and his feedback will also be important for us."

Marco Silva offers measured response to Everton's credit debate following Manchester United win

Richarlison was a major doubt for the trip to Chelsea earlier in the season with an ankle injury but played through the pain barrier to lead the line at Stamford Bridge.

And so Silva will give the 13-goal forward every chance to prove his fitness.

"You know Richarlison.  I told you at the end of the (United) match for him to come off is because it is really impossible for him to keep playing," he said.

Everton set for major squad revamp which could see two teams of unwanted players axed

"He arrived here at the beginning of the week and said: 'I'm ok' but after this he felt the rib again.  His feedback had been that there was no pain, nothing, but it's Richarlison, he always wants to play, he always wants to be in the training sessions, he doesn't want to miss anything.

"But we have to be aware of the situation and then decide."
