Dunelm fans in Bristol don't have long to wait until the chain's newest superstore opens in the city.
The home furnishing retailer is opening its second Bristol branch at Cribbs Causeway, in the unit formerly occupied by the defunct Toys R Us.
It became apparent a new store was set to open in Bristol in November 2018, when a now-expired job advertisement for sales assistants online revealed plans to assemble a new team ready for the launch.
At the time it was unclear when the store was set to open.
Signs have appeared outside the store stating it is set to open on Thursday, December 12 - just in time for Christmas shopping.
Dunelm's other Bristol store is located at the Tramway Retail Park in Brislington.
It is unsure what will happen to this outlet following the launch of the Cribbs Causeway store.
Dunelm was founded in 1979 by Bill Adderley and Jeany Adderley, trading in home textiles from a market stall in Leicester.
The first Dunelm store opened in Churchgate Leicester in 1984, with the first superstore opening in Rotherham in 1991.
As of June 30 2018 Dunelm operated 169 stores across the UK.
Bristol Live has contacted Dunelm's press office for a comment about the new store and is awaiting a response.
