In news that delighted chocolate lovers across the region, Slattery's has reopened for take-away and deliveries.
The beloved bakery and chocolate shop has been selling lockdown bundles on its website, including cream teas, hot chocolate sets, and children's treat boxes.
The most popular of all have been the Mystery Boxes, which sold out within hours of going on sale.
The boxes are filled with Slattery chocolate items guaranteed to be worth £25 - but are priced at just £10.
The catch is that you have no idea what you'll get inside.
Tomorrow will be the last day that the mystery boxes will go on sale, and they're expected to sell out again.
We managed to buy one of the mystery boxes before they sold out last week, and collected it from Slattery's in Whitefield - where a collection table has been set up in the car park along with social distancing markers.
The heavy black and white box was packed to bursting with chocolate items.
In ours, we got three chocolate lollies with iced messages on each, a bulging bag of chocolate buttons, and a bar of cappuccino-flavoured milk chocolate studded with dark chocolate coffee beans.
There was also a huge 300g bar of milk chocolate with a print of the much-loved Mark Kennedy mosaic '...And on the sixth day, God created Manchester'.
Finally, our box contained an Easter selection box, stuffed with more chocolate buttons, mini chocolate eggs, hollow mini Easter eggs, a caramel-filled egg, novelty chocolate rabbits and ducks, and orange chocolate carrots.
It was free to collect from the cafe, though Slattery's is offering delivery within a certain radius - minimum spend for delivery is £20.
