This is what the weather will be like this weekend as the pubs reopen

Pubs in Greater Manchester are set to open their doors again for the first time in three months from Saturday.

But if you are planning to venture out for a pint in the beer garden, be prepared to get wet.

According to the Met Office, it is going to rain steadily throughout the day until the evening, when it will become cloudy.

It won't be particularly cold, with maximum temperatures of around 18 degrees being predicted, although the wind will make it seem chillier.

The situation isn't any better on Sunday, with conditions expected to remain unsettled, wet and blustery.

Highs of around 17 degrees are being predicted.

The weather isn't expected to improve until Monday, when forecasters expect things to become drier and brighter - albeit with a few showers remaining.

Describing Saturday's conditions, the Met Office says: "Another damp and dreary day for many, though winds a touch lighter despite a keen breeze remaining. The best chance of bright spells will again be towards the south.

"Maximum temperature 18 °C.

"The unsettled theme continues on Sunday as conditions remain wet and blustery.

"Monday and Tuesday turn more settled and drier with increasing bright spells and only a few showers".
