It doesn't matter where you shop, prices are rising and you probably notice it more with your big shop.
With grocery staples taking a hit, and stock shortages having an impact of their own, it's no wonder our money isn't stretching as far these days.
We decided to see exactly how much prices have risen by repeating the same Tesco big shop from last year.
And we noticed some big differences.

Of the 65 items we bought - mainly groceries with a few toiletries thrown in - 38% (25) were more expensive, almost 45% (29) the same and almost 17% (11) cheaper.
This year's total bill (online shop December 1) came to £96.57 - almost 11% more than last year's total of £87.16 (November 26, 2020).
And while prices are shooting up, the size of some products is also getting smaller - like the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light Spread, which was £1.25 for 450g compared with last year's 500g tub for £1.
Shoppers have already told us there seems to be less offers at Tesco and our shop appeared to back that up - with just three Clubcard offers compared with 13 this time last year.
And some weren't as good as last year's either, for instance the four-pack of Magnum White Ice Cream was previously £2 on Clubcard, but is now £2.50 on the same promotion.
Supermarket bosses told us around 4,500 items are on offer with Clubcard at any one time, but that price deals are 'regularly updated', so what was on offer back in 2020 wouldn't necessarily be on offer now.
It also runs its Aldi price match scheme and while our shop had seven items price matched to the budget retailer's, only two brought the cost below last year's Tesco prices - the toothpaste by nine pence and the carrots by just a penny.

Among the items to rise in price were Muller yoghurts, chicken breasts, mince, whole chicken, milk, fruit and more.
Those down in price include cherry bakewell tarts, broccoli, Cadbury Twirls four-pack and shower gel.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We’re committed to giving our customers everyday great value through the expansion of our Aldi price match scheme to around 650 products, the re-launch of Everyday Low Prices to more than 1,600 items and the extension of Clubcard prices to all our Express stores.
“There are a number of reasons why this one shop might have varied in price over the year, including seasonal deals and regular updates to products on Clubcard prices.”
