This is the Welsh woman who was on the news celebrating the royal baby's birth

Welsh royalist Anne Daley's interview with a national news organisation has gone viral after it was announced that Meghan Markle was in labour .

The superfan was wearing a Welsh rugby top when she was stopped in Windsor by Sky News reporter Katerina Vittozzi on Monday.

But the interview didn't quite go to plan and the clip has been shared thousands of times around the world.

Royal baby name latest odds as Meghan Markle gives birth to son

Clutching two giant balloons of babies, she said she had driven from Wales on Monday morning on the off chance she might see something about the royal baby who was born on Monday morning.

During a report after news broke that Meghan was in labour, she was stopped in the street and asked about the balloons.

She struggled with the word ethnicity but told the reporter: "They do sell Afro-American babies now, of ethnic minorities. We have been waiting all day, and we have just heard now that she is in labour."

Then when she was asked how long Meghan would be in labour for, she replied: "I've no idea, I've never been in labour. I've only voted Labour."

She finished the interview by saying that the couple should have twins.

"Somebody sabotaged my twin when I went to the ladies loo," she said.

But it is not the first time that Anne has been interviewed at a royal event.

She is one half of a pair of dedicated royal fans , and is usually with her sister Judy Daley, from Llandaff, in Cardiff.

When will name of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby be announced?

The pair are at most major Royal events and often joined with their King Charles spaniel dog Camilla in toe.

When Harry and Meghan visited Cardiff, Anne and Judy were at Cardiff Castle to invite the bride-to-be out for a hen do in Cardiff.

Meghan had agreed to come along, but we don't think it ever happened.

The sisters tend to queue for hours to catch a glimpse of members of the Royal family, and normally go dressed for the event.

They also travelled through the night to see the Queen on walkabout in Windsor to celebrate her 90th birthday.

Anne's interview following the royal baby's birth hit the headlines and she even got invited on the This Morning baby shower party bus with presenter Alison Hammond as it toured around Windsor on Tuesday morning.

She was on board the bus, wrapped in a Welsh flag and surrounded by other royal fans who have flocked to the royal town to catch a glimpse of the new baby.

Meanwhile, Alexander, James and Arthur are the favourites at the bookmakers as royal fans place their bets on what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will call their newborn son.
