This is the weather forecast for Noel Gallagher's Cardiff Castle gig

Cardiff Castle is becoming renowned as a venue for live music and the first gig of 2019 is about to take place.

Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds will perform at the Cardiff landmark on Friday, May 24 and the show will be followed by open-air concerts from The Killers , Manic Street Preachers and Paul Weller at the venue.

Nile Rodgers and Chic will also be making an appearance this summer.

Noel will be supported by Supergrass' Gaz Coombes, Cardiff's Boy Azooga and fellow Welshies, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and the gates are due to open at 5pm.

But what will the weather be like for the alfresco performance?

According to the Met Office, Friday is due to start off cloudy but there will be sunny intervals from late morning onwards. Early evening temperatures will be around 15 degrees so pack something warmer to pull on a little later.
