Reshuffles are not on the cards for North Tyneside Council, as the authority decided to keep its cabinet the same.
The cabinet is made up of the Leader of the Council and nine other councillors, called cabinet members, who are chosen by the full council.
Each cabinet member looks after an individual area of responsibility. They make decisions on how policies and services are delivered within those areas.
Here's at look at the authority's cabinet and what they do.
Leader of the Council - Norma Redfearn Elected Mayor

Norma Redfearn is the borough's democratically elected mayor and leader of North Tyneside Council, and is responsible for overall strategy and policy.
Bruce Pickard - Deputy Mayor
Coun Redfearns's deputy, he is in charge of regeneration, planning and economic development as well as delivering policy.
Ray Glindon - Finance and Resources
Coun Glindon is the cabinet member responsible for finance and resources, this remit sees him overseeing council assets and property, audits, assurance and risk the supply chain. He is also responsible for efficiency and investment programs.
Gary Bell - Adult Social Care

Coun Bell is in charge of adult social care and safeguarding, he is also carers' champion and older peoples' champion.
Sarah Day - Culture Sport and Leisure
Coun Day oversees culture, tourism, leisure and sport she is also the cycling champion.
Margaret Hall - Public Health and Wellbeing

Coun Hall is responsible for public health and the health and well-being strategy.
Steve Cox - Housing

Coun Cox is behind housing strategy, management, investment and the affordable homes program.
Carl Johnson - Environment and Transport

Coun Johnson is responsible for transport and infrastructure, as well as air quality and the plastic free North Tyneside scheme.
Carol Burdis - Community Safety and Engagement
Coun Burdis is in charge of community safety and tackling anti-social behaviour, public protection and emergency planning. Her role also sees her over see engagement and communications with the borough's residents.
Peter Earley- Children, Young People and Learning

This role means Coun Earley is in charge of Children, Young People and Learning as well safeguarding and employment skills for the borough.
