This is the starting XI Nottingham Forest fans want to see face Barnsley

If Nottingham Forest supporters have their way, head coach Sabri Lamouchi will opt to change a winning side for the visit of Barnsley this weekend.

Fans will once again be out in their thousands on Saturday with a near sell-out expected on Trentside for the first game on home soil since the 3-0 demolition of Derby County in the Carabao Cup last month, as the hosts look for just a second home league win of the season.

And they hope the Frenchman resists the temptation to alter things too much after last Saturday’s terrific 1-0 win at Championship leaders Swansea City, but the one change they want to see made is the return of Joe Lolley.

Forest produced a dominant display at the Liberty Stadium, though they had to wait until the 85th minute for substitute Alfa Semedo to roll in Lewis Grabban’s pinpoint cross, a result which made it eight games unbeaten.

Lolley was a surprise exclusion from the starting XI in south Wales, and fans have voted to bring the Reds’ talisman back into the team at the expense of Albert Adomah.

Unsurprisingly, Joao Carvalho keeps his place behind lone striker Lewis Grabban, with Sammy Ameobi and Lolley.

Such has been the form of Ben Watson, he’s making it very tough for Lamouchi to leave him out, while Samba Sow once again gets the nod ahead of Semedo.

Brice Samba continues in goal, with Matty Cash, Michael Dawson, Joe Worrall and Yuri Ribeiro across the back four.

Forest fans’ starting XI: Samba, Ribeiro, Dawson, Worrall, Cash, Watson, Sow, Carvalho, Ameobi, Lolley, Grabban.
