Nottingham Forest pair Sabri Lamouchi and Joe Lolley have been recognised after an impressive January saw the club maintain their promotion push.
Head coach Lamouchi has been nominated for the Championship Manager of the Month award, while Lolley is up for Player of the Month.
Lamouchi guided Forest through January unbeaten, with three wins and two draws seeing them climb to third in the table.
One man who played a key role in that was Lolley – who hit four goals in five games. He is up against Nahki Wells (while he was at QPR), Michael Hector (Fulham) and Josh Harrop (Preston North End).
Lamouchi faces competition from Phillip Cocu (Derby County), Lee Johnson (Bristol City) and Michael O’Neill (Stoke City) – but the Forest fans aren’t too keen on the award and the supposed ‘Manager of the Month curse’ that comes with it.
