This is the Nottingham Forest team Sabri Lamouchi should pick to face Cardiff City

Nottingham Forest are back in action on Saturday as they host Cardiff City at the City Ground .

The  Reds  moved up to fourth in the Championship with a dominant 4-0 win at QPR  on Wednesday night, but they look set to face a different challenge from a more physical side at the weekend.

Cardiff are mid table in the second division, seven points behind Forest after taking four points from two games under new manager Neil Harris, the former Reds striker.

His rival in the dugout, Sabri Lamouchi will be without Ryan Yates who serves the second of a two match ban with a debate still to be had about who plays in midfield.

Alfa Semedo scored from the bench in a brief cameo at QPR and has already proven himself to be a quality player.

However, Tiago Silva was excellent alongside Ben Watson and Joe Lolley impressed as the number 10.

Semedo will likely have to make do with a place on the bench again, unless Lolley moves back out to the wing at the expense of Albert Adomah.

Adomah was the one player to disappoint at QPR and with Joao Carvalho scoring a  brilliant solo goal when he came on , Adomah is the player most under threat.

Elsewhere, Brice Samba is set to be in goal with Matty Cash at right-back fresh from signing a new contract.

Tobias Figueiredo will likely again keep Michael Dawson out with Joe Worrall and Jack Robinson completing the back four.

Lamouchi is also without Yuri Ribeiro who will not return to action until next weekend when Forest take on Millwall.

And here is the team that Nottingham Forest fans want to see face Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon.

Forest fans have opted for an expected back four including Matty Cash, Joe Worrall, Tobias Figueiredo and Jack Robinson all looking to offer Brice Samba as much protection as possible.

The popular Ben Watson has been picked to play his typical holding role with creative Portugese duo Tiago Silva and Joao Carvalho ahead of him in the centre of midfield.

And Lewis Grabban leads the line with Joe Lolley and Sammy Ameobi, who is just one game away from picking up a one-game suspension, on the left-wing.
