This Is the Funniest Electric Scooter Police Chase and You Have to See It

Before I lived in Los Angeles, I didn't think police chases were really real. You know, they're the stuff of movies, but they don't happen in real life. Wrong. As I came to understand, and witness multiple times first hand, folks do in fact run from the cops and do so in spectacular fashion.

None of them, however, can hold a candle to this intrepid scooter fellow who leads police on one of the funniest chases I've ever seen. Perhaps, it is the funniest police chase ever, as you have a guy riding an electric scooter just making the police look like absolute incompetent tools.

I mean, if you don't actively begin rooting for the guy by the end, I'd suggest you check your funny bone. Take a look.

The police ain't got nothing on him

From what I can discern, the footage above comes from somewhere in Eastern Europe and/or Russia, based on the billboard's language. But, honestly, who cares? What's truly hysterical about this whole thing is how you can just tell that the cop was itching to catch this guy, thought they totally had him, but the scooter rider just basically kept at a constant speed throughout the whole thing and peace out.

And you have the police officer doing his best T-1000 impression with the scooter guy just nonchalantly going about his business. It's just...chef's kiss. I'd love to believe that the scooter rider had some lo-fi hip-hop or mindful trascendetalism podcast playing through his AirPods while all this was going down. Like, he wasn't even truly aware he had Robert Patrick chasing his ass as if he was John Connor.

It also just screams to the asinine nature of police chases, which only ever end in idiotic endings. Thankfully, this doesn't stop with someone getting hurt or killed, which is more often the case. Anyways, I'm gonna watch this another four times and laugh some more, and I suggest you do the same.
