This is the exact moment fans outside the Etihad knew City had won the league

Man City were on the south coast when they were crowned Premier League champions 2018/19 as they came from behind to beat Brighton 4-1.

However, there were thousands outside the Etihad Stadium watching the game on the big screen.

The players and staff will now fly back up north to the Etihad to parade the trophy later today.

A homecoming event and stage show will be hosted in front of the Colin Bell Stand at the Etihad.

The doors open to fans at 8.30pm.

Players will be live on stage with the winners trophy at around 10pm.

It's a full day of excitement for fans who travelled to the stadium earlier today but it's likely that today's highlight will be this very moment in the video above where the final whistle went and chaos ensued.

In a week City will head down south once again as they aim to complete a domestic double with an FA Cup victory over Watford at Wembley next weekend.

Pep Guardiola adds another trophy to his cabinet - this is how many he has won to date
