The upcoming debate to find the Democratic Party’s nominee for president will feature ten (!) people on stage, which is a whole lot of people. Along with front runners Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, and Bernie Sanders, the debate will feature Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’Rourke, and Andrew Yang.
To show those ten people on one screen, which is difficult I imagine, the gang at MSNBC went and chose a graphic that will be instantly familiar to any soccer fans: They showed them in a 4-3-3 formation.
There’s no goalkeeper, but whatever. It’s perfect. They’ve got Joe Biden at right back, and Sanders and Warren leading the line up top with Andrew Yang.
Twitter user Alex Baker pointed it out:
After Alex did so … the jokes came. So many jokes came. Soccer Twitter had been waiting its entire life for this moment, and here it was, and the jokes started FLYING.
Yeah, I included my tweet in this. Sue me. It made me giggle. Anyway, this is some fun internet stuff for the day. Article over.
