The Warriors haven’t played since Saturday and the trade deadline hasn’t been quite as spicy as many of us would have liked thus far. With still a day remaining until the Warriors take the floor again, we have nothing but highlights to watch to get our fix.
We’ve seen plenty of Steph Curry threes, we’ve seen Klay Thompson explode for one of those epic nights, and we’ve seen Kevin Durant get surgical more than enough to satisfy our collective thirst for those kinds of clips. We’ve only had seven games of DeMarcus Cousins, though. And his dunk over Kyle Kuzma is the best poster we’ve seen from the Warriors all season long.
Even with a dunk we’ve seen myriad times, there is always a way to improve on the experience. This time, the improvement comes from Matt Straus (mattstraus_filmmaker on Instagram), a filmmaker who was in the building for the game and shot this absolutely incredible film of Boogie throwing one down on Kuz.
The panning from left to right, moving toward the middle of the paint as Boogie receives the pass and lifts off looks straight out of a Marvel film. This is maybe the best look we have of Cousins standing over Kuzma after the dunk, too. It really doesn’t get better than this.
