'This is still our time' - Liam Cooper's rallying cry as Leeds United's promotion push suffers latest blow

Leeds United skipper Liam Cooper has issued a cry of togetherness being required amongst everyone associated with the Whites following Saturday's latest setback.

Leeds suffered a third defeat in a row as they were beaten 1-0 by QPR at Loftus Road on Saturday lunchtime, meaning they have now recorded just one win in their last seven Championship matches.

Following Fulham's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough on Friday night, Leeds knew that they had to win against Mark Warburton's side to re-open up a seven-point cushion to third-place.

With Leeds' form having taken a dramatic nosedive in recent weeks, concern is mounting over their promotion aspirations.

In a bid to keep the spirit of the supporters up, Cooper has taken to social media to issue a rallying cry.

Writing on his Instagram page, the Leeds defender said: "Disappointed by the decision, of course! However, we should still be winning those games - we are hurting and you are hurting, but everyone needs to stick together for the last 18 games.

"This is still our time. Ups and Downs. #ALAW"
