'This is so out the blue' Son of Scots dad missing for two days begs him to come home after sudden disappearance

Concern is growing for a Johnstone dad who has been missing since Sunday.

Police say Kevin Turner, 50, was last seen at home around 3am on October 25 and family say it is very “out of character” for him to disappear.

Son Christopher Turner, 25, said the family are desperate for him to come home and pleaded for him to contact.

He told the Daily Record: “This is just so out the blue.

“Everyone is getting worried, we just do not know anything right now.

“It’s very out of character and he wouldn't go anywhere without telling us.

"We want him home asap or just to get in contact with us or the police.”

Kevin left him home on Quarrelton Grove on Sunday and police have been tracing CCTV from shops in the nearby area.

He is described as being 5ft 8in tall and of stocky build with short brown hair.

He is thought to be wearing a black rain jacket, a pair of dark blue jeans and black boots.

Sergeant Dean Shankie said: "We are concerned for Kevin's welfare and would urge anyone who may be able to help our efforts to find him to get in touch as soon as possible.

"If you have any information then please call 101, quoting incident 2065 of 25 October."
