Is BSkyB getting desperate? Mindful of the recession and the company's oft-stated claim that it will attain 10 million subscribers by 2010, Monkey only asks due to the flurry of posters the satellite TV service has flung up around the place. Nothing new there, but Monkey's eye was drawn to the £50 of Marks & Spencer vouchers BSkyB is throwing into the deal for new subscribers. Fifty quid! Even at Marks prices, that is a helluva lot of TV dinners.
