Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced the name of their baby son who was introduced to the world today.
Meghan and Harry 's baby name has been announced as Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Archie arrived at 5.26am on Monday weighing 7lb 3oz. He was revealed to the world on Wednesday morning, when Harry and Meghan revealed their first pictures of him.
A new picture was later posted on the couple's Instagram account of the baby meeting the Queen, Duke of Edinburgh and Meghan's mother.
Harry and Meghan have been enjoying the experience of being new parents at their Frogmore Cottage home near the Queen's Windsor Castle residence.
Baby Sussex slept through his first photocall and his proud mum has described him as "dream" baby.
She said: "He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm."
As they both laughed, Harry said: "I don't know who he gets that from."
Wearing a white dress, Meghan also declared: "It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy."
Speaking from Windsor earlier, on Monday, Prince Harry said: "I'm very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy.
"It's been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.
"How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we're both absolutely thrilled.
"We're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support from everybody out there, it's been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody."
A Royal Family spokesperson said: "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.
"The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.
"Her Royal Highness and the baby are both doing well."
