This is how you can get on BBC Question Time when it comes to Nottingham

The BBC's popular TV show Question Time which sees audience members quiz politicians and media moguls alike will be coming to Nottingham - and this is how you can get on it.

Question Time's host of 24 years, David Dimbleby, was replaced by BBC News at Six and Ten and Antiques Roadshow presenter Fiona Bruce, who became the first female host in the show's 40-year history.

The show is hosted in numerous locations around the UK and will be coming to Nottingham on April 25.

Back in July, 2018, Mansfield Town Football Club's chief executive Carolyn Radford also appeared on the show as a guest.

Potential audience members must fill out a form and submit two questions which will then be considered for the long-running TV show which airs on BBC One.

Some of the questions asked include 'How did you vote at the last General Election' and whether you chose to remain in the European Union or voted to leave.

It also asks whether or not you have been 'politically active', such as standing as a candidate, working or supporting a political party or campaign group.

The BBC website says: "Due to the high volume of requests received we apologise that we are unable to call everyone.

"Question Time audience members will be requested to come up with two questions to be considered for the programme.

"Please note that everyone applying to be part of the studio audience is required to complete this form.

"The information is completely confidential and only used for the purpose of balance."

The BBC website also states if you have been on the show before in the last 10 years, "please give others a chance" and don't apply this time round.

Applicants will be contacted on the Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday before the programme.

To apply to be an audience member, you can call 0330 123 9988 or simply visit the website.
